When Anthony was 11, he pulled a vintage guitar out from under his father's bed and was quickly drawn to writing and composing in his parent’s basement on a four track recorder. When his friends were learning to play Stairway to Heaven and all of the difficult guitar parts of the time, he was fascinated with mixing sounds together and realized he could create something new. When his guitar teachers asked him to bring a song to learn, his answer was, "I want you to show me some things so I can make a song of my own." This led to him attending Berklee College of music, one of the top schools for contemporary music in the world, studying theory, writing, recording, and production.
After playing guitar and writing for bands, ultimately landing him in the multi-platinum selling band CrazyTown in which Anthony was a co-writer and guitar player, he spent several years producing and mixing records as well as writing for numerous bands such as THE BRAT, Kevin Never Talks, La Bestia, L.A. Calling, Blacklist Union, and London After Midnight. In the mid 2000s, Anthony created a partnership with another television Editor/musician to create the company Urgent Sound and has been a member of ASCAP since 1998. Urgent Sound has written hundreds of pieces of music for many major networks and has been placed in television shows around the world.
One day in the studio, Anthony’s partner leaned over and told him that he would make a great television editor, which led to him spending the next 15 years editing shows for Bravo, Discovery, Lifetime, MTV, TLC, etc., and going on to be a finisher on several hit shows., all the while continuing to compose for film. With a very busy life doing both editing for television and composing music, Anthony is uniquely situated to bring both perspectives to his creative work every single day.
Despite being a mad scientist in the studio searching for perfection while expressing the occasional expletive, he is known for being easy to collaborate with. Anthony never loses sight of deadlines and remains steadfast in his commitment to deliver exceptional results. Driven by his passion for artistic expression, Anthony's interests extend beyond music. He has spent countless hours studying the visual side of the medium, learning everything that he can and building experience with cameras, lenses, filming, and editing. When he isn’t working, he enjoys creating projects so he can accomplish them, spending time with his wife and 6 year old son, and traveling.
